Ha sido Asesor del Presidente de Gobierno de España, de la OCDE, del Instituto Estadístico de Andalucía y de la Cátedra de Economía Internacional de la Universidad Nebrija. Fue jefe de análisis y evaluación económica de la Generalitat Valenciana, analista de mercados financieros en Citibank y de comercio exterior en la Oficina Comercial Española de San Francisco, EE.UU.
Ha ejercido como Profesor Asociado e Investigador en la Universidad de Berkeley, California, Investigador en la Universidad de Maryland, Profesor Universidad Europea (Madrid, Valencia), Profesor del Master del Instituto de Estudios Fiscales sobre Gasto Público y Programación Económica y Profesor Asociado en la Universidad Nacional a Distancia
Ha sido miembro del Consejo de Administración de SVPI, de Empresa Nacional de Electrónica y Sistemas S.A., de Digital Management Consulting s.l., de Caja del Mediterráneo y de la Agrupación CIN-CEET.
Tiene una amplia experiencia internacional, mediante trabajos, informes y conferencias en Estados Unidos, Japón, China, Centro América, Europa, África y para la Comisión Europea en la DGII, DGIII, DGV, DGVII y DGXII.
